Christina Applegate Bares All for PETA

(Friday, November 30, 2007)

Christina Applegate, probably best known for her work as Kelly Bundy on the hit show Married With Children, is the latest in a long line of celebrities to bare all for PETA (People For the Ethical Treatment of Animals). The organization regularly runs ads featuring celebrities protesting the killing of animals for their fur. In her ad, Applegate is wearing festive Christmas gloves and nothing else, with the statement "Fur: Get Me Not".

Applegate has made appearances at a number of fundrasiers, including the Stand Up To Cancer Telethon, shortly after she herself was diagnosed with breast cancer.

More About The Charity
  • PETA focuses its attention on the four areas in which the largest numbers of animals suffer the most intensely for the longest periods of time: on factory farms, in laboratories, in the clothing trade, and in the entertainment industry. We also work on a variety of other issues, including the cruel killing of beavers, birds and other "pests," and the abuse of backyard dogs.
