Britney Spears and her father Jamie Spears were in attendance for a charity polo match at the Will Rogers Polo Club, where they cheered-on the team that Jamie had entered. While not winners in the event, the duo enjoyed a day raising money for the Promises Foundation Miriam's House.
The Promises Foundation, started by the founder of the Promises Treatment Centers, seeks to provide substance abuse prevention and recovery resources to women. Miriam's House provides these women not only a place to live, but a place to raise their children and rebuild their lives during a year of healing. Up to 15 women seeking recovery from addiction and improvement to the overall condition of their lives may be served by the home at a time.
